GDPR ONLINE COURSE
For the preparation and certification of the Personal Data Protection Officer (DPO)
GDPR will enter into force on May 25, 2018. The regulation stipulates the obligation to designate a person responsible for data protection for all public institutions as well as for organizations that manage large volumes of personal data.
In order to ensure proper implementation, the new provision imposes considerable fines that can reach up to 20 million Euros or 2-4% of the global turnover in case of non-compliance .
Based on the courses held in the university environment so far and out of the desire to make them available to all those interested, we have developed and launched the GDPR ONLINE COURSE for the Training and Certification of the Personal Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Duration: the course can be taken in a flexible manner in about 4-5 hours (with the possibility of stopping and resuming).

The knowledge acquired regarding the protection of personal data during the course is accurate and precise, with the participation of both academics and data protection specialists. The course structure is broad, covering all topics necessary for the implementation of GDPR at the organizational level.
TRAINING IN THE FIELD OF DATA PROTECTION
The service packages are offered by Amplusnet in partnership with the Center for Data Protection , established by the Department of Law and Public Administration within the Faculty of Economic, Legal and Administrative Sciences of the “Petru Maior” University of Tîrgu Mureş. The center is part of the Erris government network ( https://erris.gov.ro/Data-Protection-Centre ).
The Center for Personal Data Protection is composed of specialists with over 20 years of experience in the field of fundamental rights protection, with extensive training gained nationally and internationally. Their expertise is grouped into three areas: the legal field; IT and management.

In accordance with the provisions of the Romanian Constitution, the judicial authority is composed of the courts, the Public Ministry and the Superior Council of Magistracy. In order to ensure the confidentiality and security of data, the General Data Protection Regulation applicable from 25 May 2018 requires small and medium-sized enterprises that collect, process, store and transfer personal data (either employees or customers) to review the implemented policies and procedures.
